From August 29 to 31, DIC EXPO 2023 China (Shanghai) International Display Technology and Application Innovation Exhibition sponsored by the LCD Branch of China Optics and Optoelectronics Manufactures Association was hosted in Shanghai New International Expo Center, accompanied by the 3rd International Mini/Micro LED Supply Chain Innovation Development Summit (IMDS 2023).
The Forum, with focus on the latest technology and application trends of Mini/Micro LED, was attended by key supply chain scholars, industry experts and business representatives, who explored the Mini/Micro LED supply chain innovation opportunities and challenges, greatly promoting cooperation and exchange between industries.

Tu addressed the meeting with his deep-diving analysis of Mini/Micro LED on industrial investment, application field, and technical route, briefing the Forum on Ledman’s innovation in the Mini/Micro LED industry, and on Ledman providing strong momentum for the industrious development.
He said that Mini/Micro LED is viewed as the next generation of display technology, and that the MLED industry has seen active investment and financing in recent years. According to Led Research Institute, GGII, in the first half of 2023, the new investment in Mini/Micro LED and other fields exceeded 116 billion yuan. As the industrialization process of Mini/Micro LED accelerates, the industry will register a soaring growth.
Tu said that, from the perspectives of technology, economy, and business model, the development of Micro LED will start with the ultra-large screen application and, as sales growth drives the growth of LED RGB chip industry, the cost will rapidly drop, driving large and medium size display applications.
